I was very fortunate to have the amazing opportunity to work with a few of the most talented wedding vendors in Northern California. I met Harlene from Harlene Events on last year and instantly having a great vibe out of her. She is not only a great person, but her work is flawless and extremely professional. Her sense of style is so cultivated and detailed I couldn't resist her offer to have the opportunity to do this styled shoot at Coyote Point. She brought not only an outstanding cake baker: Jasmine Cakes, but a phenomenal hair stylist: Dream Catcher Artistry, two amazing models from Rae Agency, and fantastic rental collaborators such as: TM&Rentals, Pleasanton Rentals, Encore Events Rentals, Party Crush Studio, Vintage Wild Flower Rentals, and Frances Lane. The beautiful wedding dress was from BLHDN, the stationary was brought by Serafina Stationary + Design, the custom agates by In Loft Calligraphy, and the flowers by Twiggs Floral Studio.
So yes. I was surrounded by very talented women. I could not stay behind and the challenge was accepted. We we started at 5am. The two models (Lauren & Marco) arrived at the hotel to get started. The make-up artist was sensational. She not only understood what Harlene was going for, but she delivered amazing skin tones for the photography. The models were spotless.
We arrived at Coyote Point Recreational Area and started shooting. I was very lucky to have the shore with more area to play around. Usually the tide is high and it covers a vast section of the place. So we played. Very tricky place to stand up because of the very slimy rocks. But the models were such troopers. As we went on shooting for hours, Harlene was setting up the tab and the rentals to get the second section of the session going. When I arrived and saw these crafty women working I was nothing less than grateful and blown away. Jasmine Cakes delivered a beautiful wedding cake with so much detail. The flowers were so colorful and well balanced, giving the whole atmosphere a sophistication and drama I was hoping to see.
I really hope to work with more amazing talented people in the future. This photography session will be published in four wedding magazines across the country and two famous wedding blogs. I feel truly honored and humbled about this. Styled shoots can be fun!
